WHY I DO THIS WORK.

Over the past 10 years, from the support of my therapist, I have experienced healing through the process of sharing my story and allowing myself to be seen. That is why I do this work- I SO believe in therapy and the healing that can come from sharing your story with another and doing the heroic work of looking inward in order to create lasting change.

I believe that you can move from feelings of overwhelm and worry to a place of calm and safety. You can move from feeling stuck to finding freedom. From feeling alone to connectedness.

My Approach

I offer a space that is welcoming & kind, where together we work to explore past experiences, current ways of being and consider new ways forward. It can feel risky to do things differently, but I believe that in a safe, trusted relationship you can build the confidence to explore, practice and engage the world in new and profound ways.

I utilize a psychodynamic framework, helping clients uncover unconcious feelings, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors. Additionally, I pull from the Internal Family Systems Model and the Trauma Resiliency Model that help clients explore their internal complexity in a deep and embodied way. I bring mindfulness- based skills and approaches that can help guide you to reconnect with your body and mind, contributing to regulation, insight and healing.

I work with people who are struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression and overwhlem. In addition to these areas of focus, I specialize in supporting people who work in the entertainment industry, people with caregiver burnout, gender & sexuality issues and intersections of faith with mental health and identity.

I'm here to help guide you and support you as we work to re-discover and strengthen your ability to trust yourself and to live the life that you desire.
